Great Southern Land

Wake up. Breathe the warm fragrant air. Lazily glance at the new day haze kissing the red ochre landscape, the majestic Ikara-Flinders Ranges teases you in the distance. Kookaburra cheekily laugh from a Red Gum Tree as you smile at the memory of yesterday’s outback adventure with friends, family, loved ones. This is Australia. Not the one ruled by the alarm clocks, lockdown or socials. But the one that lives by the sun, moon, stars and whatever comes your way. Mesmerising safari walks with Adnyamathanha elders, spotting native wildlife, soaking up the land or simply sitting back next to the pool with loved ones, sipping on a Barrossa classic whilst Chef prepares an upscale bush-tucker banquet.

Nestled in the foothills of The Ikara-Flinders Ranges, Arkaba is the Australia of your dreams. Romantic, rugged, beautifully stunning and as far away from the rat-race as you can be. With a successful conservation program reversing years of stock grazing, the landscape is abundant with native wildlife waiting for you to spot them. Red gums, black oak and cypress pines dot the ochre landscape, as Arkaba’s picturesque high ranges, plateaus, gorges, valleys and creek lines stretch before your eyes.
